Dining room, care of Nanny & Granny

TA couple posts back I showed Keith hanging my spray painted Marvin’s shelves (2 shelves- $10, can of spray paint I already had). Well here they are with my Granny’s china on them.005

She always showed it to me again and again when I would go visit. She was so proud of it. It’s from England and VERY old.  They hung in my dining room in the Georgia as well.

011That table and chairs came from the Goodwill! I knew they wouldn’t fit in the rental, so we sold them.  I was given my Nanny’s kitchen table and chairs, and to say they needed some  work, would be an understatement.

After sanding, re-staining and re-polying these bad boys. Oh yeah, and a friend who happens to be a designer, reupholstered the seats.
