One word for this week- Overwhelming

So I debated on whether or not to even post about the new additions to the family this week. If you have know me over the past 10 years, you have only known me in one car. My faithful 1997 Honda Accord. Keith and I had talked about replacing it for YEARS now. We were not going to replace it until we had a reason to- i.e. children. Then as soon as we sold our house in Georgia we were going to get a new-to-us car. Well the folks renting decided to sign on for longer while there house is being built. So Keith told me to start looking for a car. I test drove an Acura MDX, which I liked, but this particular one had been pretty beat up on the inside. I searched online for a while. Finally this Lexus poped up. Sidebar- we had narrowed our search down to an Acura MDX and a Lexus RX330. It had all the kid essential things already built in so when the blessed event FINALLY happens, we will be ready. So here she is- meet Vanna White!

Do you see the Accord in the background. I will miss her. We had some GREAT times together. She moved me to college. Carried me and my friends around (she was pretty cool back then). Several road trips together. I know her like the back of my hand. I've know her longer than my husband. She will be missed. She still has a lot of life left in her. Sidebar- My husband thinks I am a LOONEY TUNE becasue I am so attached to this inanimate object.

I also got an iphone this week. I don't even know what to do with myself. Both of my gifts were surprises from my dear husband. He is the best! Now I'm off to clean the house. The in-laws will be here this weekend and we have Keith's 10 YEAR HIGH SCHOOL REUNION tonight! I will definitely post pictures from the evening.
