I think I have developed a way to keep track of my coupons. Since I don't have a lot of room to "stockpile" and Keith and I don't use that much, this is how I decided to approach saving money.
1. Sit down with the paper, cut out ONLY things I KNOW we use- not something I want to try. I do not have the room for that.
2. Go over to the coupon websites (i.e. coupons.com) and print ONLY the coupons I know I will use.
3. Head over to the Publix website to see what is on sale or BOGO.
4. Peruse my list of coupons- and match them to what is on sale @ Publix
I devised a really complicated way to keep up with what coupons I have. Envelopes. Three envelopes to be exact. One labeled "Publix", one labeled "CVS", one labeled "Resturants". I listed the coupons I have and their expiration date. As I use them I cross them off the list. Why did I choose those stores? Because I am not going to run all over town. This is what my envelope system looks like:
And the whole reason why you even clicked on this blog...
OMG is that Kitty!?!
ReplyDeleteIt sure is- she LOVES drinking from the toilet.
ReplyDeleteI wish you lived close to me so I could have you clip coupons for me and properly label the envelopes. I envy you!
ReplyDeleteAnd I also want to say...I didn't want to see the cat butt. I was actually interested in the coupons.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip Mandy! I have heard of several people doing that. Can't wait for Wednesday!
