So Iana blogged about this Crock Pot Taco soup, that she got from one of Kelly’s Korner recipe link parties. So I thought Saturday would be the perfect time to give it a try. I love to cook in Crock Pot on Saturdays because I am home (I don’t like leaving the Crock Pot going all day while I’m at work), and it allows dinner to be cooked while I do the more important chore- CLEANING!
Ok- here’s the deal, it calls for an onion, NO WORRIES, use onion flakes! I used frozen chicken, again, NO WORRIES. The chicken cooked up perfect.
What a dinner to eat while watching the nail biter we called a football game. I’m going on record as saying that Terrence Cody is my hero!
While I was home sick today, I saw the trailer for a new movie coming out in November. Looks like my kind of movie!
Did you see them? Several cameos, one by Coach Nick Saban. The movie is based on the book “The Blind Side” about Ole Miss player Michael Oher. The trailer makes me cry- who know what the movie itself will do to me.
My mom and I super excited about the movie! It comes out on her birthday. I downloaded the book on i-tunes, when I first saw the promos for the movie but the book wasn't very good. (But I think that I didn't like it because it talked A LOT about the techinical stuff & the history of football & I got bored and really confused...)
ReplyDeleteI almost had a heart attack during that game. We love taco soup at our house too. That movie looks good I will have to go see it.
