"Boot"camp

So this is the end of my four week journey through Birmingham Adventure Bootcamp.

As a parting gift- I recieved a lovely boot. It really goes with EVERYTHING! Yep, apparently going from doing nothing to do hard core Cross-Fit 3 days a week can lead to stress fractures. So I have a war wound, a stress fracture on my ankle. But I continue to do bootcamp in my BOOT! Obviously I can't run, but you would be surprised how much you can do with one of these bad boys on. Now on the important stuff- the fruits of my labor. I lost 4% overall body fat and 2 inches off my waist! I actually gained width in my thigh, but that is where I gain muscle first. I also have a baby bicep muscle as well. There are workouts on the Cross Fit website (the workouts are named after fallen soliders) that I will be working on until I can save up my pennies and do boot camp with Mary again.

My whole purpose in doing bootcamp was to give myself a boost to losing inches and being more active. It totally did that. Now lets see if I can reach the goal of trading in my size 10's for 6's!

I also start an interesting decorating project this weekend- definitely will be blog worthy with LOTS of pictures!
